Chief Medical Officer's letter on alcohol guidelines evidence

The Chief Medical Officer has responded to a letter on the new alcohol guidelines from Professor Sir David Spiegelhalter, President-Elect of the Royal Statistical Society. The text of her letter is below.

Dame Sally Davies and fellow UK Chief Medical Officers have published new guidelines for alcohol consumption and warn that drinking any level of alcohol raises the risk of a range of cancers.
